Account & Data Deletion

This page provides instructions for users of the ContactCleaner app to request the deletion of their accounts and associated data as required by Google Play policies.

Steps to Request Deletion

Submit Request: Provide the email address you use to log in to the app in the form below.
Verification Link: We will send a secure verification link to that email address.
Confirm Deletion: Click the link in your email to provide final authorization. Once confirmed, all your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.

Data Security & Handling

For your protection, all synchronized data is stored securely with encryption on Firebase servers. Under Google Play's Data Safety policies, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of this data at any time.

When you submit a deletion request, we will permanently purge the following from our encrypted database:

Your encrypted contact backup files.
Account profile and identifying information (Email address).
App preference data and analytical metadata.

Permanent Deletion Policy: Once your request is verified, all encrypted records associated with your account will be deleted from our systems. This process is typically completed within 48 hours.
